I was just reading this fic!  and I got to this part and I was like “holy smokes there had BETTER be fanart of this cause if there isn’t I will combust” and OF COURSE here it is and it looks just like my imagination! 

What is this world, where we can see a thing, and someone can write a thing, and someone can draw a thing, and we all feel greater for having participated in a collaborative event, something larger than ourselves.

So let’s be honest here—one of the reasons I wish I was employed is that I wouldn’t have to spend all my time thinking about what I really want in life, and what my goals are, and I could just have a routine that maintains what I need.  It’s intellectually lazy.  I’m better than that.  But reflecting on the shortcomings of yourself and the universe every day is exhausting, not to mention depressing.  It would be nice to have an easy and socially-acceptable out.
